About Us

L&M Fleet Supply has proudly served customers across the Northland since 1959. Co-Owner/Operators Del Matteson, Shawn Matteson, and Erik Andersen extend their heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers and dedicated staff whose support has fueled our growth in the competitive Northern marketplace.
The journey began in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, when James Luthen and Delbert Matteson opened the first L&M Fleet Supply store—a modest 30’ x 60’ wooden building. Their pioneering vision was to buy directly from factories and sell to consumers, establishing our enduring philosophy: “Quality at a Discount.”
Today, L&M Fleet Supply operates thirteen retail locations and a corporate office/distribution center across Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While we've grown significantly, our commitment remains the same: to offer quality products at discount prices with exceptional customer service.
